Assembling 500 STEM Kits for the Upcoming North Bay Science Discovery Day

On Sun, Feb 22nd, students from 3 Marin County high schools - Novato High School, San Marin High School, and Branson School came together to assemble 500 STEM kits for the upcoming North Bay Science Discovery Day.


"It was fun meeting other students who also believe in supporting STEM education," said Alyssa Huang from AspireED. "Many thanks to Li, Nick, Leila, Elena, Ellie, Paola, Jasmine, Meerab, and Sophia for donating their time. It was a lot of fun, and everyone worked together very well!"



The North Bay Science Discovery Day (NBSDD) takes place on Saturday, March 7th, from 10am-4pm at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. Admission and Parking are FREE - no tickets required. The festival brings together 100+ organizations - supported by 70 sponsors and 150 volunteers - for youth to talk with scientists and engineers while exploring 150+ interactive exhibits, from rockets and beehives, robots and sharks, catapults and hearts, animal, animals, art, and more.


AspireED is one of the 105 exhibitors at this year's festival, and will offer 3 hands-on science activities for kids, in addition to handing out free STEM kits. Other fan-favorite exhibitors include LucasFilm, Kaiser, Medtronic, The Children's Museum of Sonoma, Pacific Cost Air Museum, Buck Institute, Charles M. Schulz Museum, and Tesla.


North Bay Science Discovery Day is sure to be a fun, activity-packed day of learning for kids ages 4-14 and their families. Hope to see you there!
